How the company works

We are small on purpose. A short roster means the person who scopes your job is usually the person who performs it, and nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a crew. It also means we turn down work that is outside electrical or outside a reasonable drive.

Most of what we see comes from the age of the housing around us. A lot of the homes between Jefferson and Adams were built before residential electrical demand looked anything like it does now. Two-prong receptacles, 60- and 100-amp services, ungrounded branch circuits and cloth-insulated conductors are ordinary here, and so is the request to add a heat pump, a charger and a remodeled kitchen to a panel that was never sized for them.

Licensing and permits

We operate as a california licensed c-10 electrical contractor. In California, electrical contracting is regulated by the Contractors State License Board, and the C-10 classification is the one that covers full-scope electrical work. Permitting and inspection happen locally: through Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety inside the city, and through the relevant city building department in places like Culver City and Inglewood. When a job needs a permit, we pull it under our own license rather than asking the homeowner to do it.

Electrical failures do not keep business hours. Ours is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week, and calls to (213) 584-4180 are answered rather than queued for the next morning.

What we do not do

We do not sell whole-home surge protection you do not need, we do not quote a panel replacement before looking at the panel, and we do not take on plumbing, HVAC or roofing. When a job needs another trade, we say so.
