Post-war housing, modern loads
A large part of Inglewood was built in the 1940s and 1950s, so the wiring situation differs from West Adams. Instead of knob-and-tube, the typical find is early non-metallic cable and a 100-amp service that was generous in 1955 and is tight today. Ungrounded circuits are still common, as are original panels that have no space left and, in some cases, equipment lines for which replacement breakers are no longer made.
